The UEFA European championship and World Cup winner feels it is high time for the national team manager to get tougher with his players.
Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness believes that the current Germany head coach Joachim Low needs to have a strong approach towards the squad. The national side trainer has been regarded as very lenient and most of the times,
Die Mannschaft players take advantage of that fact.
The former West http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 attacker insisted that the national team failed to impress in the past because the squad is being allowed too much independence and freedom. He stressed that Low must change his stance towards the team ahead
of their 2014 World Cup qualifying matches.
The 60-year-old revealed that before there used to be discussions about which Formula One race they will attend in order to keep the international stars g*y. He said this attitude should stop, and also claimed there used to be
talk about the ping-pong table’s positioning.
"[In the past there has been] too much talk about to which Formula One race they want to visit to keep the players happy," Hoeness was quoted as saying in an interview.
"In the preparation everybody was discussing which ping-pong table was to be brought where, preferably on top of Mont Blanc. Sometimes less is more!” he added.
As a result, time has come for the head coach to become stricter and keep the players within their limits. He should punish the team members who do not perform up to the standard and restrict them to a bench role. Hoeness said
that Low is aware of the fact that players should be treated with a more disciplinarian approach now.
“Many players won't be treated as soft if they s***w up [in the future] I'm sure Joachim Low has realised that already," the former Bayern Munich forward finally concluded.
Germany are due to play http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sweden-c3015 on October 12 and 16 respectively. They are currently at the top of the qualifying table with two out of two wins. The DFB-Eleven will be hoping to secure direct qualification
into the main event in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 with two more wins.
