Bayern Munich President Uli Hoeness expressed his satisfaction on the work he has done so far with the club.
The former Bavarian striker insisted that the club has achieved some essential goals in his tenure which includes from being a second division club in the 1970s to becoming one of the best in Europe currently. He claimed that the
club is now the most successful in German history and is also one of the most financially stable sides in the country.
The President stated that the club is now restructured into a public entity and the success in recent years has also brought some very strong sponsors in the name of Adidas and Audi, who are now major shareholders in the club.
Adidas is a Sports goods manufacturer and Audi is a German automobile giant.
“We've achieved some essential goals for Bayern Munich. We've made the club financially healthy, we restructured it as a joint stock company, we attracted two fantastic shareholders in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adidas-c38219 and Audi,” he was quoted as saying
in an interview.
The former Bayern Munich and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FC-Nuremberg-c38162 player also talked about the development at the club in the past few years and labelled Allianz Arena as one of the biggest achievements for the clubs in recent times. However, he admitted
that things will be perfect once the club pays off the stadium debt in the next five to six years.
“We've transformed the Sabener Strasse into a park, we've given the basketball section a home with the Audi Dome, and the footballers a home at the Allianz Arena. Once we've paid off the stadium in five or six years, or eight at
the most, the club will be in terrific shape,” he concluded.
Bayern Munich look all set to reclaim the Bundesliga at the end of the season from Borussia Dortmund as they lead the standings halfway to the campaign. They have a three-point advantage over Jurgen Klopp’s side at the end of the
first-half of the campaign.
The club is in the race to win the treble as they are also in the UEFA Champions League knock-out stage and the DFB-Pokal quarter-final.
