Hoffenheim’s Andreas Beck wants a contract extension with the club – Bundesliga news

The right-back was a strong contender for a move to Juventus this summer but the speculation is now over after
the Old Lady failed to meet the demands of the German outfit.
Beck’s contract with the club is due to expire at the end of the current season and the 24-year-old has demanded a new contract from the officials.
The talented defender confirmed that he will be going nowhere in the near future and would continue representing Hoffenheim for the time being. Beck told that it was unfortunate to start the campaign with a loss but vowed to make a strong return in the club’s next game. He demanded a contract extension from the officials and urged his teammates to stay focused in spite of an opening week defeat.
The defender revealed that the Serie A giants Juventus expressed desire to sign him earlier in the summer but never met the club’s valuation.
In an interview to a local news paper, the right back added, "I am in talks with Hoffenheim about a new contract, I am very positive on this. The proposed transfer to Juventus is off, as far as I am concerned. I am not looking to move on, I do not spare
a thought about moving to another club. My focus is to begin the season well with Hoffenheim."
