Hoffenheim’s newly appointed manager Holger Stanislawski hoping for a dream start – Bundesliga news 
Former FC St. Pauli manager, Holger Stanislawski, has revealed the desire to do well with his new club in his first season as Hoffenheim tactician. The 41-year-old will start his managerial journey from the 2011/12 season where he would be up against Hannover
96 in the first game of the campaign. Stanislawski was appointed as the club’s new manager last Saturday and left St. Pauli in tears after spending more than a decade at Millerntor-Stadion, both in playing and managerial capacity.

Hoffenheim Chairman, Frank Briel, told that the 41-year-old is experienced enough and won’t have any problems in settling down at Rhein-Neckar-Arena. He also urged the entire squad to follow the instructions of the new manager and gel in rather quickly in
order to make a bright start to the 2011/12 campaign.
One of the club’s patrons, Dietmar Hopp, believes that Stanislawski was the best available option and praised Hoffenheim officials for bringing the German to the club prior to start of the new season. He further added, "He comes across as completely natural.
He's totally down-to-earth and doesn't harbour unrealistic expectations, and his enthusiasm is infectious."
Hoffenheim General Manager, Ernst Tanner, mentioned that the German’s arrival at the club has been welcomed by the players, which was a positive sign form the club’s point of view. He clearly stated about the club’s objective is to finish in the top half
of the table, unlike the 2010/11 season where they finished 11th on the table.
He concluded by saying, "You can certainly say we'd be looking to move up the standings a bit. It's ambitious, but if we get into the top half of the table we'll be satisfied."
