Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Junior-c20060 Hoilett has gone on to turn down a new and improved offer that the club presented to him, as he claims he has other plans up his sleeves.
The forward has been linked with a move away from the team, with many believing that the twenty two year old is set to be on his way in a couple of days.
His contract with the club came to an end, following the conclusion of the previous term and with the team now relegated to the Championship, he doesn’t intend on sticking around.
Despite Kean and Blackburn wanting to keep a hold of the forward, it seems highly unlikely for that to happen, given his stance on the situation.
Kean has gone on to reveal that the club made a very tempting offer to the forward to stick around at the club, but the Canadian opted not to put pen to paper and is now considering his options.
"We have said many times, Junior is out of contract and it is his prerogative where he signs," the manager said in a recent interview.
"We had a very good offer on the table for him. Wherever he decides to play his football, we wish him all the best.”
He then went on to add: "We felt we made a fantastic offer to keep him. He is a player who developed to a very high standard at our club."
Last season, the attacker went on to score seven goals and pick up seven assists along the way. Apart from that, his form was rather breathtaking as he seemed like one of the few players at the club, who could actually compete in the Premier League.
He was previously linked with a move to the likes of QPR, Sunderland and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 and with interest from teams in the Bundesliga heating up in him, it seems like a move away from the team is imminent.
It is now a wait to see just what the future holds for the forward and what team he ends up joining.
