Question:

Hold 'em at casinos...?

I plan to play hold 'em at a casino for the first time tonight. I was wondering if you have to pay the blinds once you sit at a new table. Otherwise, people could just sit at a table, play a few hands, then leave when the big blind is about to reach him/her. Can anyone help me?

  1. No most casinos in vegas don't make you post blinds unless you are in the blind.  Also heres a little extra advice.  Go to bed early.  get up about 3 am and go find a poker table.  I like Bally's at that time.  Sit down relax, now pick out the drunks.  Sounds funny but there is usually at least two.  Now here is the hard part, make them mad.  Make fun of they're game play.  Let them catch you bluffing (don't lose too much) then just sit back and wait for a hand.  Limp in.  They are gonna raise with whatever they have just cause they are mad at you.  Then you nail them.

It doesn't work all the time cause sometime the hand doesn't hold up but most of the time it will.  Try it.  Just don't get drunk and play cause I'm not the only one fishing for loaded fish.
