FishSteelhead was wrong... I live in Texas and the link was right! It said "Under 17 years of age." Keyword - UNDER. So you gotsta be 16 buddie!

I was told 17 if you live in the state but I was told you must have a permit for all out of state fishing persons, now I need help

FishSteelhead is right--17 year olds must have a fishing license in Texas. You don't need one if you are UNDER 17.

Update: lilaznboi713, your right, site does say UNDER the age of 17 a fishin' license is NOT required however, when one REACHES the age 17 years they'll need one... Does that make sense or am I thinkin' somethin' wrong??
