Holdem Spy set to stand first in Coral Puppy Trophy – Heat 1
The C. Weatherall trained black dog, Holdem Spy, is all set to finish first in the high-voltage race of the Coral Puppy Trophy – Heat 1 here at Hove racecourse on Thursday night, July 26. The Open Race over 515 meters will commence at 21:06 (GMT).
In the £150 competition, the two-year-old novice runner will unleash immense firepower and fighting spirit after breaking from the Trap 6.
Being the son of legendary Hondo Black, the dashing dog possesses excellent inherent racing skills that always help him make a big impact in his every outing. This is the reason the novice runner has constantly been on the podium throughout his career. This
is an awesome record indeed.
Debuting on March 31, 2012, the brilliant hound nicely won first two races of his career to impress both the punters and the fans a lot. He moved on to grab another grand victory on April 20 at Henlow.
The dog’s peak point came when he elegantly won four high-profile races in a row by the huge margins from May 10 to June 9, gaining a lot of confidence. This success streak granted immense confidence and courage to the young hound who went on to register
another success at Nottingham on July 9.
Holdem Spy finished second in his last outing on July 18. He has run just one race at Hove so far. The most important thing about him is that he has proved his capabilities equally well at various tracks.
Joscar also seems to be a strong candidate for the Heat. The C. Allsopp trained rookie runner elegantly accomplished a magnificent hat-trick of victories during the last month. The son of Kinloch Brae out of Jeffys Brindle finished first in his last outing
on July 21.
The dog’s record in OR format had not been good enough. This is the reason he is rated below Holdem Spy. Despite this, he will give fairly tough time to his rival.
A fierce battle is expected between these two hounds. If Joscar wins, it will definitely be a big upset. Good luck to both the momentous contestants.
