Holding a casino theme party with fake money but need some incentive to get the guests to gamble any ideas?

its an anniversary party for my parents but wanted to do something different just worried no one will gamble since there is no real money involved. was thinking gift card for the high winner but want black jack too any suggestions

I went to a casino themed party once with fake chips but as long as you offer some good prizes there will be incentive for the guests to play.  Things like tickets to sports events, gift certificates or other special items will be attractive enough for people to want to participate.  You could also give gift certificates to gamble online, there is a list of the top ten online casinos at http://www.toptencasinos.org , hope that helps a bit and enjoy the party!! I've been to these kinds of parties.  What you do is start everyone with the same amount of chips.  Let them gamble for a set amount of time (an hour or two - whatever you like).  Then they can cash in their chips for raffle tickets.  The more chips they won, the more raffle tickets they get.

Finally put all the raffle tickets in a draw and do the raffle for some prizes you have purchased.  Clearly, the more chips you have, the more tickets you get in the draw, so there's your incentive to gamble.

The prizes can be whatever you want to offer.

ZCT has the right idea.

I was going to add that you don't need incentives for people to gamble. Casino parties are ALWAS fun, I've never been to one boring casino party.  people love to gamble whether its the lotto, bingo, casinos, horses, etc, etc... people love games of chance.   #1 they will do it because its fun anyway and #2 they will not lose any of their money.  especially if you have real true gamblers there who are already addicts. they will play and might want to keep it going after the raffle for real money.  

just make sure your prizes are NICE.  the nicer the prizes, the  more fun the people will have and they'll really try to win.
