i have six sisters :) who don't all get along or have gone a couple of years without speaking I'm the youngest and i speak to them all but my oldest sister mary ann is really moody and it is hard to get her on a good day but i talk to her and so does cindy & dd:) my sister gloria is a person who always has a motive, a reason for being nice and i talk to her and so does dd and cindy (sum times) but mary ann hates her:( now my sister dd whom i am the closest to is a believer in christ and a grateful recovering alcoholic addict and she has been clean and sober for 2 years and has totally changed her life around but my sister cindy whom used to be really close to her thinks she is the same and has not spoke to her in about 4 years :( my sister claims she is a christian but she is always judging people and putting them down and that really bothers me but it really really bothers me cus she wont even give my sister dd a chance how can i make her believe that dd is changed and a better person and it is a awful thing not to speak to your sister cus life is to short to hold grudges?

  1. As with anything in order to get someone to listen you have to tell them what's in it for them. Tell her that DD really misses her and speaks about her all the time. Tell her how wonderful DD thinks she is, and how it would make her so happy just to talk with her again. Don't worry if its a lie by the time they find out they will have made up already.

  2. Life IS too short.  That's why if you cannot get along with someone or they cause you grief or heartache, move on and don't have a relationship with them anymore.

Family is family, and that means you should try to make things work out.  However, if they simply are not going to work out, why torture yourself with all this?  Move on and stop speaking to your sister if it's what you have to do to be happiest.

    Good luck.

  3. maybe you should schedule a meeting for all of guys to ge ttogether and talk bcuz life is short

  4. Life is too short to hold grudges.  Anyone who holds a grudge is a miserable, pride filled person who would rather live their lives in misery and make the other people around them feel miserable just so they can feel a little better about themselves.

People like that should be drug out into the street and shot.
