Hole in my eardrum it hurts.?

k peeps i have a hole in my eardrum and my doctor gave me eardrops for swimmers ear. Put the drops in and it hurt like a mother you know what. Now cant really hear that great out of it and still hurts? Anyone experience this?

I have never had my eardrum hurt but have had ear problems such as infection.

Based on what you are describing it could be something like a ruptured eardrum (an example only).

I would recommend seeing an ear, nose, and throat specialist.  These specialists are able to diagnose and treat problems that relate to the ears, nose, and throat that can sometimes be complex in nature.
