What are they exactly? Just several dime-sized holes in the back of my home stereo with arrows pointing to them?

  1. There can be alot of holes in the back of the stereo.  It could be for venting, mounting, audio connectors, video connectors.

    Can you either provide a picture or be more descriptive?  Are they a certain color?  What is the brand and model of your stereo?  Can you find the stereo on the web?
