  1. Don't, unless you pay for a seat.  Putting a pet in the belly of the plane is just mean and useless.  They don't have the oxygen or pressurized air that humans above them do.  Unless you are willing to spend the extra money, keep the pet at home.  A pocket pet doesn't count.

  2. What kind of pets? I think that the first step would be to research the airline, and see if they allow pets, and ,if so, what kind of pets do they allow. Also, I would recommend a hard plastic carrying case, it just seems more stable to me and a lot harder for an animal to break out of. Lastly, you need to think about is taking your pet with you worth it? Some pets are really really sensitive about flying and pressure changes, to then go to a different place that is not home, it can really stress them out.

...P.S I would not put an animal through the baggage claim, especially with the holiday and with so many people traveling, to lose a beloved pet through the airlines for the holidays would be very heart breaking.

  3. It would be best if you let your pet have a seat if its a dog or..mabey a cat you could put a bunny and a ferret in the seat im not sure for a rat cause you know it might get lose umm a guniea pig could work gerbils etc check out http://www.petsmart.com/search/index.jsp... thats for small pets this is for dogs ::http://www.petsmart.com/search/index.jsp... this is for cats::http://www.petsmart.com/search/index.jsp... this is for birds::http://www.petsmart.com/search/index.jsp... those are all carries but like i said you should get a seat
