my filipino wife now has indefinate leave to remain in britain, and we wish to travel to other european country, will she still require a visa to vist these country? i am a british male

Your wife will have to obtain a visa if the country you are visitng it states this is so. I suggest you go to the mebassy of the destination of your choice and check if she will need a Visa. The previous answer stated England is not part of the E.U. which of course is not true, but your wife if she travels on a Filipino passport will more than likely have to obtain a visa for most countries.

As England is not part of the European Union she may require a single visa to any of the countries you intend to visit. You need to first decide what country do you want to visit first and where the visa requirements are less stringent.
