Holiday alone?

i've recently come out of a long term relationship and really feel the need for a holiday away on my own, i was thinking of spain, im a 26 yr old female and want to go somewhere safe, any suggestions?

Try a travel forum such as GoWander.  There's bound to be someone there with the info you need.

Generally speaking, Spain is a relatively safe country, as long as you use the same common sense as you would anywhere - for instance; let someone know where you are, and don't get pissed or stoned unless you KNOW you can trust those around you!

You are never alone when the mind is with you! Does not matter where you go on holiday, the mind will be right there with you reminding you of everything. Get in touch with the companies who specialise in singleton holidays, there are lots about. Then look at what's on offer, that way you will be comfortable with the choice of location, companions, tour guides etc

Loads of people go on holiday alone but it needn't be lonely.

I often travel alone, I use hostels much of the time, even when using single rooms.

I do that because it is easy to get contact with other travelers in hostels.

If you think about Spain, why not.

You can go where you like to go, meet as many people as you want or stay totally alone if that is your wish.

Right after a split I think it is not the best to go on a singles trip, but if the idea attracts you, it is your choice.

Staying safe is more using your head than anything else.

Behave like you would in the big town near where you live.

It is the normal things like not going into the park after dark, not going home with people (men) you have just met. Do not show big amounts of money or cards.

And do not get drunk unless you are with people you can trust. (Getting drunk in your own hotel can be safe, but only if you can trust yourself to get into your room before you do funny things.)

the perfect place is alcudia wich is in mallorca as there is alot of pedestrians and a really freindly environment alot of entertainment and karioke to enjoy your self, if u go i will recomend hotel lagamonte. p.s whe ni went i met about 12 mates
