Holiday destinations Nov/Dec with sun!?

Question

I am looking at going away for a week end Nov/beginning Dec but want some sun! I have ruled out Spain, Balerics as it may be chilly that time of year. Where is good to go, all inclusive with 2 kids for a week that won't cost a fortune and the sun will be hot?

Sharm el sheikh is great and for kids too.  We snorkelled and dived, hotel had its own bit of beach, we swam with dolphins at the dolphinarium a few miles away, there is a great water park about 5 miles out of Naama bay too.  Don't go AI though, its dirt cheap to eat out and much more expensive to pay for AI.  We went in Feb with 2 kids aged 9 and 11, and others in our group were 8 and 4 so its fine for younger ones too.  It was about 75 degrees, but very cold at night so take a fleece!  Flight is about 6 hours, so not too bad.

So Ok - Not Egypt again then!  How about Gambia.  I haven't been, but it looks great.  Loads of wildlife, monkeys running around and beaches look beautiful.

I recommend you the Riviera Maya in the Caribbean, there are beautiful places, good hotels, amusement parks and places for children to adults as well.

Best value may be somewhere like Egypt, or the obvious choice of Canaries.

Go to Sharm El Sheik in Egypt for some beautiful snorkelling, and good hotels.

The Greek islands are always sunny, even in Nov/Dec.  Somewhere like Crete is good for kids because there are good beaches and its nice and clean.  Most of the bigger hotels have kids clubs too and it shouldn't be too expensive at that time of year.

gambia is nice and hot at that time of year, i went at xmas it was 35*c but you cannot get all inclusive because its so cheap, its about 6hr flight aswell.

South Africa.  Cape Town, or Durban, Port Elizabeth, or East London, or Johannesburg (but no sea there).  It is hellish hot here over Christmas and sun screen is a must. busy as anything with holiday makers and really a lot to do.  Its a must must. If You are in US, then it would be cheap, As you would get about 7 - 8 Rand to one dollar.  Loads of guest houses, which are cheaper than hotel. Book now to get in. Good luck.
