  1. You can make almost anything. Parents love anything their child makes for them...

I love this one my children did for me one year.

    They made me a calander....

They went to Kinkos with a bunch of pictures and had them copied and printed out on a calander.

Foe example, My son was born in April is picture being born was April, My b-day is June, They had a pic of one of my bday partys....that type of thing.

    Other things are:

    -ornaments

    -picture frames

    -paintings

    - cd with songs

    -dvd with memories

-any type of decorations for the house

    -blanket

    -hand prints

These are all great things that kids can do for the parents.

    I hope this helped you.

  2. when i was in kindergarden, my teacher had us cut out cardboard squares like a picture frame.  we put tape all around it, and then stained it with brown furniture polish.  it was a very cute picture frame!  and we all took individual pictures on the playground and put the pictures in the frames!  my mom still has it 19 years later! lol!   she loved it!

  3. there are many but i use to do this with my family  get alot of cotton balls and paper different colors and the eyes that more and cut out outfits and biuld a snowman and a family of them and have them glue it ok or white paint and paper to have finger paint a snow stuff  santa , snowmen, snowflacks  hope this give u some ideas . good luck have fun

  4. Get Popsicle sticks and let the kids arrange them in a snowflake shape ( guide them a little) then glue the pieces together.... When it dries, paint glue on it and let the kid sprinkle on glitter....

Then an adult hot glues a ribbon at the top in a loop. There... you have an ornament ( or something to hang on the wall)

  5. What about making a Christmas card using hand prints. You will need a green paint, brown paint, markers to write the children's name, and white contraction paper to create a Christmas card for their parents or family.

  6. anything you can put a picture on....like make an ornament out of construction paper into little shapes with their picture in the middle...you can even get those foamy ornaments for like $6.....it's the pictures that might be expensive...

  7. Get paper plates, macaroni, spray the macaroni with x-mas color paint sprays yourself a day in advance...cut a hole in the paper plate and put a picture in the middle - and have them decorate the outside with the macaroni...glitter, construction paper, green and red yarn, etc...Or get some plaster, mix it into a paper bowl and have them make a hand print on it

  8. The best present I ever got from my grandchildren was a felt banner with their handprints on it.  They coated their hands in poster paint and patted their hands on simple fabric and left to dry.  When dry, their mom used paint markers and wrote their names next to their individual handprint, tacked the fabrinc to a piece of felt that was folded over at the top with a rod through it.  She sewed on a few decorative buttons that matched the paint, and viola!  A banner I will always cherish!  :)
