Holiday help.?

Question

i am a single mum of 3 kids which are 15, 12 and 8 we are on a very tight buget and are in need of a break for 3 or 4 days. we dont want to go abroad maybe stay in a caravan on a theme park or something. we have been looking on the internet for holidays but they seem so expensive i was wondering if any oof you have been in the same situation or know of any good cheep holidays it would be much appreciated

I would go to Montenegro (coast) or Bulgaria (coast).Eventually Croatia (coast). Weather like in Spain or Portugal but prices 2 or 3 times lower.

you will find easily  accommodation in caravan for 10 pounds

Food prices peanuts. Spaghetti in restaurant next to the sea 2 pounds. Lager [Kamenitza] - 40pence (!!!) in the same restaurant...

Croatia prices: [27/06/2008]

Apartment to rent for 4 people - 80 Euro per day

Food more expensive than in Croatia (20-30%)

Montenegro: [3/07/2008]

Apartment for 4 people - 40-50 Euro per day

Cheapest is Bulgaria, than  Montenegro, than Croatia

Why not check for caravan sites around Burnham On Sea or Brean? There is quite a big amusement park near to the sites around here. But why not check with your local travel agent? They don't just deal with holidays abroad, they will be able to advise you about specific holidays for one-parent families, and should be able to find you something within your budget

try looking in local papers on the internet for the area you wish to go, usually you will find accomdation at cheaper rates, phone caravan parks ask if any owners have available renters. Camping is a cheap option, I had to do this for years as I couldnt afford anything else and you'd have loads of fun too. Hope you find something :o)
