Holiday in Lanzarote?

I am travelling to lanzarote in November,Where would you recommend for eating out,please I want to get the best value.I am staying in Pourte Del Carmen,am retired,Any good spots for entertainment for am age group,I will be travelling with my Wife.

We went for Christmas about 15 years ago.  It was cold and wet, there was no heating and we didn't have warm enough clothes. The restaurants were OK-ish, but we live in London and they simply didn't compare.  Fortunately we had books with us - spent Christmas tucked up in bed, reading.  No culture, no infrastructure - Lanzarote depends on sunshine - it's horrible in winter.  Never again.

Take no notice of promises abut the weather, make sure that wherever you stay, they have heating.  And take some good books.

I went in the summer a couple of years ago and it was awful, nothing to do, same landscape no matter where you looked couldn't wait to get home really, not my type of holiday at all.

ive been to lanzarote. there is a fantastic resturant in costa teguise called canta tex mex. its fantastic!!!
