Holiday in Scarborough - outdoor pool/things to do?

I am going on holiday to Scarborugh soon so am looking for things to do whilst im there. I had been planning to go to Atlantis - the outdoor pool, but heard this has closed. I am really hoping to find another outdoor pool in the area, maybe further away - Bridlington perhaps? But I cannot find anything on the web so hoping local people can tell me where to go for outdoor swimming (apart from the sea!)

Aswell as wanting to find an outdoor pool, any other ideas of fun things to see/do while im there? I'm aware of Peasholme boating lake, any more things like that? Or just general things people would recommend me to do whilst on holiday there?

The best Sea Life centre (in my opinion) in the UK is in Scarborough.

There's a bus from the railway station that goes straight there. It's about two miles from the station, so you're better getting a bus or taxi.

this place is a typical british holiday nice place the sea front is the biggest attraction, loads of gift shops just watch out for there pound shop lol they make there own prices.
