Holiday nightmare stories??

Any holiday disasters you have to share? airport delays, bad flight terrible hotel? x*x

Flew out to Hong Kong in terrible gales,only been up in the air about half an hour when the Captain screamed to the cabin crew to sit down..the plane dropped 5000 feet at once ,i hit my head on the overhead luggage container(always wear my seatbelt now!) and people were badly buffeted about,came down in Frankfurt before continuing on.

Zante flight hitbad turbulence on way home,woman in toilet was concussed and air stewardess taken off with a broken ankle by the paramedics when we landed..... I love flying me!!!

yeah our trip to thailand was quite a start! plane was delayed for 5 hours, then again for 2 hours. When we arrived, our hotel cancelled the reservation because they thought we're not coming. We had to wait at the airport FOREVER next to a woman eating really nasty smelling fish-things.

No hotel, more than exhausted, the heat was unbearable... nice start!

But it was all worth it. Thailand rocks!

I got stopped at the airport in New York and questioned at length for a very long time and then put in a holding room with a guard (I would have noticed how cute he was if he hadnt had a gun!). Then I was questioned again by several security people. then they gave me my passport and let me go. Why? Who knows?
