Question:

Holiday suggestions?

My boyfriend and I want to go on holiday in mid-late June. We don't know where to start! All we know is this:

> We'd like some nightlife in the form of bars and restaurants

> We'd like it to be hot (over 25c)

> We'd probably like some kind of beach nearby

> We'd probably like stuff to do in the area; rather than going all-inclusive... but we're undecided

We also live in England and wouldn't want to travel for more than about 8 hours. We have a budget of max. £1k each.

So far parts of Florida, Miami, California and the Caribbean have come up.

Can anyone give us websites, or help us narrow down our options please?!

Thanks! xx Emmie

  1. Go to Orlando Florida where you can do the theme park deal. And drive 6 hours east to Daytona and Ft. Lauderdale...and then go back to Orland and head west to the Gulf coast for Tampa and make sure to visit Caladesi State Park, Coco Beach, where the water is slightly warmer.

    Mid-late June...temps will be around 25-30c

  2. Dubai or Egypt O_o

  3. you could go to China (that seems at bit pricey) or maybe Bali, it has aamjor noght life but the flight is rather long.

  4. how does hawaii sound  has everything sun surf sand

  5. Marmaris Turkey I swear you will love it or you can report me!!!!

  6. I would say go to the place that has all of the above and more, h**l!!!

  7. Oh just go to all the places and have a ball!

  8. Hiya!

Cuba and Cancun immediately come to mind.

Have you thought about Morocco? Or Eygpt?

Just type the destination into a search engine and lots of options will come up.

    Phoebsx

  9. Cancun, Mexico - brilliant place I've been 3 times you'll have a great time!

  10. I highly suggest La Romana in the Dominican Republic.  We went to an all inclusive resort, but there are plenty of hotels in the area.  The Dominican Republic is an up and coming locale for great holidays and is still relatively inexpensive compared to other Caribbean islands.  Another area of interest in the Dominican Republic is Punta Cana which is located on the Atlantic side, while La Romana is located on the Caribbean sea side.

When we went there, a year ago, there were plenty of tourists from England, Italy, Canada, and the USA, of course.

    Have fun
