Me and my boyfriend are planning on going to Goa for our first time end of November for 2 weeks, we would like b/b somewhere close to beaches and towns with plenty to do but not stuck in a really busy place! We will be looking for places to visit as well as days on the beach, we like good food etc...we dont want to have to get a taxi everywhere so walking distance would be good and the same time we dont want to be to close to the sound of bars late at night...alot to ask i know!!! Any suggestions? Oh and North or South??!!!

Following are some of the beaches:

    Bogmalo Beach

    Dona Paula Beach

Despite being an exclusive beach destination adorned with swaying palms and heritage buildings, there are some modern attractions that allure every tourist. Take a break from the throb of Goa's ever crowded metros and the overcooked beaches to enjoy a welcome change at the mock-village of Ancestral Goa. Being the first of its kind, Goa's most unique sightseeing spot offers a detailed pictorial rendition of the state's rural culture under a single roof. Goa is a land of fun and there are many ways to do so. Colours yourself in the moods of gambling and who knows you can win quite a few bucks overnight at the multiple casinos that bedeck the terrain. Behold an altogether different Goa in its wild side at Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary. Boot on the manicured gardens and give way to alluring butterflies and tiny tree frog, should they cross your path. Enter deep and you might see a magnificent gaur turn your way or a sloth bear drawing its path into the bush. Admire the sambhar and spotted deer delicately nibble at the vegetation before you move on to see the majestic elephants.

  3. Hi, from one welsh person to another,  we will be there from nov. until march, north is best, south is nice but very quite,  ok north you have candolim / calangute / baga,  candolim is not to busy, forget calangute to busy, baga is ok it where the disco,s are,  but its ok they all have to stop any music at a certain time, just choose  a hotel beach side, food is brill, beach bars sell good food, myself its north, have a look at www.holidaytruths.co.uk and click on goa there,s loads of info there,  have a good 1

  4. The best place as i know in Goa is north-west goa calangute beach baga beach anjuna beach they are all adjacent to one another and if you want to shop for anything the state capital is only 14 kms away. I suggest you to visit these places and dont forget to visit water fall in east goa.
