We are going to Malta in October/November,with our 8 months old baby. What is the weather like?. I've never been to Malta around that time of year, so I would like to know, what kind of clothes we have to take with us for example, especially for the baby.

Thank you.

  1. No-one knows what the weather will be like in October, it is not possible to accurately forecast that far ahead.

  2. it will be about 70 -75 degrees.

  3. Hi there, it is difficuilt to predict, I am from Malta!, two years ago we were still wearing light clothes until December, a year ago October was a little bit cool.  If you are from the UK, then the weather could be warm for you.  To be safe with my guessing, I suggest that you get 90% summer clothes and 10% autumn clothing. Most of the time, it is sunny in Malta, and even when it is windy during the day it is not that cold. So for your baby, if you can get a little cardigan for the evening that would be good.   and by the way for baby food.. don't worry too much we have various brands, we do have kelloggs for you as well...dining is quite reasonable....so you should enjoy the holiday in Malta.

Should you need any further details or hints as to where and what to do in Malta, just let me know...or you may wish to visit www.visitmalta.com for more details. If you are not afraid of driving, I suggest that you get a rental car, we drive on the right, so again..if you are from the UK then that should not be a problem....although we have improved a lot... we tend to drive sometimes closing an eye on traffic rules...but there is nothing to be scary of!! good luck and see you

  4. the weather in Malta is like a warm summers days in the Uk, take with you a jumper for the night as it does get a bit cold.

  5. It should still be pleasant but chilling off in the evening.  Malta as with most islands can be windy.  Best to take layers as you will not want to overheat baby if it is warmer than expected.  Don't forget the snacks on the plane for baby, fresh fruit and cheese straws works quite well, as plane food is not the best for baby.

Hope you have a lovely holiday.

  6. take ville 009 advise it is  correct

But in malta they drive on the LEFT  not right as in ville answer .

Also the drivers have no road sense and the roads are in poor condition

so take your own life and your baby's life in your hands and try driving over there

Malta is a great place and great people you will have a great time

  7. very warm, having been there in late september, though the evenings get a little cooler. Malta is a lovely place, and do not miss on going to Gozo and the blue grotto, truly magical
