Holidays....a great place to go with 12 year olds???

Question

We want to get away to somewhere warm...Dominican or Cuba....all inclusive with 2 12 year old boys.

Can anyone recommend a great place to go with lots for the kids to do and for adults as well?

my son went to Cuba last year its probably not the place to go with children if he went outside the complex on his own his insurance became void ! its quite a poverty stricken place which would bump up the crime, although he did say he had a fantastic time but he didn't take children with him.

my 12 year old want to go to Hawaii but personally i want to go to St. Thomas!! or Bermuda

Although I am sure both those islands can offer a great vacation, I would still suggest an alternative just in case.

Curacao is a great place to take children for a vacation. It's relatively safe, has a lot to see and do, and has plenty of interesting activities for youngsters.

Cuba is beautiful and it's perfect for people of all ages. I recommend Hotel Tryp Cayo Coco. It's a fabulous resort and there is so much to do for young ones and for adults. The Entertainment Staff is so much fun and will keep everyone happy. I love that place. It's beautiful, the food is great, the rooms are nice, it's clean there and the staff is amazing! Your kids will have so much fun on the beach, in the pool and doing other activities. The Entertainment Staff will play sports with them on the beach and in the pool as well. The shows are great for all ages as well.

Another plus for that resort is that it's only a 15 minute drive to and from the airport. So you can spend more time at the beach and having fun and your driving time won't cut into any relaxing time. Quick and easy.

There are many day trips as well that the family will enjoy.

And your insurance is still valid when off the resort. Cuba is very safe, tourists are very safe.

My suggestion would be Cuba.  There are all kinds of resorts with great beaches lots of activities for both kids and adults.  My favorite resort is sol Rio Luna y Mares, Holguin. great beach, good food, lots of stuff much of which at no extra charge such as horseback riding, paddle boats, wind surfing, catamarans, the list goes on and on.  Varadero also offers lots for everyone.  Check the sites below for lots of information,  Wherever you go you can be assured of a great time in Cuba.

Those both are nice but i think u should take a look at Puerto Rico thats where i loved to go when i was a kid and an all inclusive is a very good idea
