Holidays without sales??

Question

Well here's the thing, im coming in the beginning of August in England and I wanted to know if Im gonna miss all the good stuff from sales. I mean I'll bring enough money either way but in sales I could buy double clothes. So...?

At the moment a lot of the stores are running their sales at different times and throughout the year.  Gone are the traditional January and July sales.  People are not spending much here in the UK currently so I imagine that some stores will have sales still in August to encourage people to spend...

Apart from the January sales, most shops have them at different times now days.
