Question:

Holliday and Fuentes to Phillies?

There are rumors of Fuentes and Holliday being traded for Shane Victorino and the Phillies's top prospects. Please tell me what you know about the deal and the chances it has to be completed.

Also I don't want any Rockies fans answering because I know that you're just going to say how this won't happen.

  1. Only happens if a Unicorn replaces Charlie Manual.

  2. Not gonna happen. The Rockies have made up some serious ground in the NL West and with Troy T. back at short I think they will hold on to Holliday at least until next year.

Fuentes will likely stick around too, word is the Rockies are asking for WAY to much for him. The Phillies could pull one of the Pirates outfielders from across the state if the price tag on Nady or Bay drops, but we'll see.

  3. I think (eve though im a sox fan) i think the sox get fuentes and hlliday because they need releif help and manny problems.

  4. The Phillies need starting pitching so this won't happen.

  5. There is about 3% this deal will get done.

I still believe Matt Holliday will be in a Rockies uniform until next year's trade deadline.

Brian Fuentes deal is still alive for any team. He has one year left on his current contract.
