Hollinshead to make a duo bid for Cagnes tomorrow
Some of the most prestigious and anticipated racing events have been scheduled to take place in the whole of United Kingdom. The fans of the sport and all those involved in the horse business are extremely excited for all these upcoming events throughout
the spring racing term. Cheltenham Festival is at the top of the list. The event has been scheduled to take place in March at the Cheltenham racecourse and will be featuring some of the most talented racehorses backed by the champion trainers of the country.
Preparations for the festival are going on with great enthusiasm, now that only five weeks are left to the prestigious meeting. Meanwhile, other events like the Grand National meeting that will be taking place at the Aintree racecourse is also very much anticipated
by the fans of horse racing and the bookmakers.
On the other hand, some quality racing events have also been lined up in France. The event that is in the lime light at the moment is the exalted Cagnes-sur-Mer that will be taking place on Wednesday in France. This race will be contended over a soft going
and is a standard feature of an all-weather racing card. Where some of the most famed trainers will be sending out their racehorses to clinch victory in this event, British trainers are also a part of this mega event. According to the sources, it has been
revealed that trainers from Britain will be sending out two their trainees in two of the racing events that will be taking place at Cagnes on Wednesday. The event that is offering a purse money of 16,000 pounds and will be run over a distance of 1 mile and
4 ½ furlongs on a turf surface will be contended by Iron Out. Iron Out trains under the care of the champion trainer Reg Hollinshead and will be ridden by Ioritz Mendizabal in the race tomorrow. The racehorse is five years of age and so far has not managed
to make any impressive performances, as was not able to claim victory in the Riviera track event that took place last month. Nonetheless, his trainer is expecting a better performance this time, since Iron Out is running over a longer distance on this occasion.
Other prominent racehorses that will be taking part in this event are Benjamin and Refik. The former is a trainee of Luis Urbano-Grajales and will be ridden by John Voctoire, while the latter is trained by Maxime Cesanri and will be ridden by Dominique Beouf.
