Have you noticed how, if someone makes an outfit consisting of abercrombie and hollister some people will say stuff like " omg, i love your style" ? How is that style, abercrombie and hollister make the same stuff every season. Look at the stuff they made 4 or 5 or whatever years back. its the same stuff (different colors or w/e etc.) I don't know..whats youre opinion? Do you agree, or am I just ranting.

  1. Yeah, I think its because Hollister & Abercrombie are very popular stores.

I used to be obessed with Hollister but then I started seeing that all it is is the same stuff season after season with Hollister, HCO, or some California place or an island name on it.

Now, I like to mix up my style & go to different stores cause I HATE seeing someone wearing the same thing as me [lol].

Sometimes I'll go to Hollister, but I'll just get their sweaters & hoodies.

  2. I don't shop there cuz i'm not that skinny.

    i like hollister's perfume though.

  3. Well, idk on how girls talk bout style, cuz im a dude. But, I do shop at hollister, and know wht your saying. Here's the thing, if something sells really good, like how almost everything in hollister does, then why not sell it again with a slightly new version to make more cash. I really admire hollister buisness practices. They are brilliant. Think, they dont pay for advertising, you pay them. Everytime, you wear a hollister/abercrombie shirt, you are advertising the brand. They charge alot, cuz people love them so much, that they will pay anything. Their atmosphere atracts teens, and the good looking people working there just want you to buy it more.

So, to sum up my answer, theyre just geniouses in buisness. They know what theyre doing. And like I said, if one thing sells good, why not sell it again. Think bout it, almost everything in hollister is the same, just different color, they alwasy say hollister or wht not.

Hope this answers your question. =)

  4. I agree...i usually only get compliments when i wear hollister, abercrombie, american eagle..it's just the status..u pay for the name...when u wear those brands you impress others by the fact that u have money..it's wrong but that's just how it is

  5. i deffinatley agree. everyone wears it too. i hate the store & i hate the clothes they have, but it wouldnt be so bad if not every single person i see wheres it. id rather be myself & get stuff i like instead of following the crowd. it gets retarded when people buy a regular white shirt that they could regularly get for about 15$ and get it for like 40$ in hollister because of the label. thats so stupid. its dumb how people care so much what people think about them. :p

  6. Personally, I find that A&F has a tad better quality than Hollister, when it comes to getting holes in camis and shirts, especially ones with thin fabric. I think that they have the essentials-camis, tanks, t-shirts, and some nice knits that are fine to pair with other types of clothes. It's when you wear straight down everything you have on from there that makes you part of the crowd. If you fit a nice pair of jeans with a cute sweater and boots, you still wear that label, but aren't noticed for it as much. You still feel good, right? They have a good fit of clothes, except with certain tops I have to go up a size or two to small or medium due to the lack of breast space in some of them, especially camis with built-in bras! =) They do make very similar styles each year, but they do have some artsy shirts and tops with rhinestones that I bought a few years back and I have never seen anything like them since. It just depends what you find there, I guess, how it looks on you and if you really love it! It doesn't matter what other people think, anyway. =)

  7. yeah pretty much...all it is is paying too much to look like everyone else

  8. i made you in outfit of  just hollister  and abercrombie

exceptt the dress' was from  forever 21  http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/app#foo

  9. i d k, i love them all :)

but it gets really annoying when you see EVERYONE wearing them :/

  10. I completely agree with you. All the girls walk around wearing the same shirts. They're practically walking Hollister billboards.

Style is different for everyone. Or it was supposed to be...

  11. Be your own person and make your own style.  s***w name brands; just be yourself.  People are so d**n concerned with labels.  I could care less what anyone thinks about my clothes.  If they think I'm a loser for shopping at Wal-mart or Target, then that's their loss for being too shallow to get to know me.
