Question:

Hollister Rang Up Shirt Twice...?

Yesterday I bought a few things there, and they rang up the t-shirt twice. I am going back tomorrow, but how do I prove that I didn't just buy two shirts? They have the same SKU so I would think they would let me have a refund or store credit. How can I make them believe me?

  1. the customer is always right trust me it doesn't matter if you can prove it or not your going to be taking it back to some kid who makes 8 dollars a hour and nothing comes out of his pay check if somebody steals something

  2. show your receipt and show them all the things u bought yesterday and tell them that u were here yesterday and rang it twice

  3. bring in your receipt and everything that you purchased, then ask to speak with the manager and he/she should be able to resolve it.

  4. Just go in, with the shirt and the tag and tell them the truth.  That you didn't notice the error until you got home.  If you don't get a satisfactory response from the person you tell your story to, go over their head and talk to the next level of management.  If they're not there, get the info from the clerk or go to the store's website for contact information.  Most places won't risk losing a client over the cost of one shirt.  And if you're persistent enough it should let them know that it is unlikely to be a lie.  Liars, when their lies don't work, generally tend to go away because they have nothing to back up their positions.

  5. go in and bring the reciept and everything you bought just tell them what happened and then if they dont go for that show them what you bought! they should deff. let you have your money back
