Hollys Bob keen to complete hat-trick in Carling East Anglian Challenge - Heat 1
Consistency is the trademark of the K. Dawson trained white and black dog, Hollys Bob, who is keen to complete a hat-trick of his success-studded career by winning the Carling East Anglian Challenge - Heat 1 at Yarmouth racecourse on Saturday night, August
11.
The two-year-old veteran hound has excellent record over 462 meters; thus, he will take it quite easy to adjust to the ground tonight. The Open Race of £150 is set to start at 21:15 (GMT).
The dashing dog has had an excellent success streak since the last three months. From May 26 to July 3, he marvellously won five high-profile races in a row---each success came with a reasonable margin.
After finishing as the runner-up in the A1 462m Flat at Yarmouth on July 7, the son of Ballymac Ruso out of Rackethall Holly grabbed a grand victory in A1 462m Flat on July 18.
On August 4, the skilled sprinter elegantly finished first in the A1 462m Flat, and moved ahead to claim the title of the August 545 – Dup at Mildenhall on August 7.
The best thing about the hound is that he has delivered decent performances in different formats of the game. He has gained favourite tags for many times in his career.
Hollys Bob’s chances to win are clear from all aspects but he must be wary of Pennys Pong who has enough potential to trigger an upset in the coming contest.
The R. Pleasants trained brindle b***h started her career with a grand victory on March 16, 2012. She went on to bag a couple of consecutive triumphs during April.
During the last couple of months, the brilliant b***h made some impressive marks. After winning two OR events in a row, the daughter of Ballymac Maeve out of Pennys Saratoga marvellously won the July Dash at Henlow on July 5. She also gained two consecutive
runner-up ranks during the same months.
Pennys Pong gained a lot of confidence by winning the Ohn Smith's Peterborough Derby - 1st Semi-final at Peterborough on August 1.
Thus, a fierce clash is expected between these two mighty hounds. Let us catch the live action.
