Hi, I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out on this one! Myself and my boyfriend are going to be staying in Anaheim in September and won't have a rental car. We've pretty much worked out how to get into / out of LA by public transport by now. However, we were hoping to book tickets to the show in the Hollywood Bowl on the Saturday night when we are there. I can't seem to find any way to get back to Anaheim when the show is done though. We're staying in one of those hotels right beside Disneyland. The Amtrak or the Metrolink Express bus don't seem to run past ten or so. Any ideas? If there is another transport option such as a late night bus please let me know, as I would love to visit the Hollywood Bowl. Thanks for all your help!

  1. The Hollywood Bowl has a shuttle bus that runs from Lakewood to the Hollywood Bowl. It only costs $5 for eash of you rountrip.

    Lakewood is close to Anaheim.

You would probably need to take a taxi back to your hotel.

  2. Two options; to make this trip up until about 10PM you can easily use the Red line subway from Hollywood to the 7th street metro center station in Downtown LA, then take an MTA express bus #460 directly to Disneyland along Flower Street. After 10PM your options are limited to the following; Up until Midnight you can Take a Red line subway from Hollywood to Downtown LA 7th street metro center station then take a Blue Line subway to the Long Beach Transit mall where you can then take an OCTA #60 bus to Westminster and Harbor where you can finaly take a OCTA #43 bus to Disneyland. If after midnight the subways stop running and you will need to take a MTA bus #156 from Hollywood to Downtown LA then a MTA bus #60 from Downtown LA to Long Beach and then the OCTA #60 to the OCTA #43 as mentioned above since these lines run all night. This may seem complex but keep in mind this is a long trip across the entire metro area. Good Luck!
