Hollywood party theme?

My stepdad is turning 50. He loves theater and is always on stage, makes people laugh and Emcees quite a bit. We have a red carpet for the entrance, clapboard and stars for the centerpieces, etc. What would be a good theme (like a title for the program) to celebrate his love of theater, the 50 years he has had and the 50 years to come?

Pick a musical and have people dress up as the characters... you might even have someone dress as Marilyn Monroe and have her sing happy birthday to him... For my dads 50th Birthday I gave him a card that sang to him and it had MM's voice and he loved it.

You can also get some foamboard or a piece of plywood and paint it to look like a movie marquee with his name and that it's his 50th birthday, then put clear, stringed Christmas lights around it and his names will be up in lights at the party!  You can get a big piece and paint it the way when you're at a theater and they have the person's name and movie, you can paint the background, which is usually white and then in black, paint his name and then 50th Birthday or Happy 50th Birthday and then paint red around the edges, it's usually edged in red, and then do the white lights around the sign.  You can do it with the clear Christmas lights that you put on the tree and hang it in the party area, the bigger the sign, the better, and for someone that's into the theater, he would LOVE that!

For the program, you can put:

For 50 years of Laughs and 50 more to come!

We've been laughing for 50 years and we'll be laughing for 50 more!

For the man who's been on center stage for the last 50 years and who stay on center stage for another 50!

Celebrating a half a century of entertainment! Looking forward to another half a century!

To Fifty years of laughs, and another 50 years more!
