Hollywood themed party ideas?

im throwing a hhuge sweet fifteen at a hotel and the thme is hollywood..but i need ideas! cuz i dont know what excatly else to do besides a red carpet, pick up people in limos and have a performance...what ideas can u give me please?...like what should i give as party favors? or any decorations??? anything will help..thanx alot!

you definetely have to use alot of glitter!put it on everything.get some plastic champagne glasses so you can look classy.you can get a photographer to take glam shots and make everyone dress up like they are going to an award show.

~ line the entrance walking into the party with red carpet

~ for evening events-use white twinkle lights (to light the path along your red carpet

~ Pass out treny sunglasses such asstar-shaped, glittered gold or silver.

~ decorate the celing with a collection of floating stars in gold silver and black such as seen on website

Serve sparkling cider in champagne glasses.

Decorate with lots of gold and silver - like stars and large mylar balloon shaped like stars. Or even movie posters around the walls, if you can.

For music, play songs from soundtracks or movie scores.

As people enter the party, have an announcement or salute, like the little introduction at the beginning of 20th Century Fox movies (for girls) or the lion's roar at the beginning of MGM movies (for boys).

Have everyone dress like their favorite movie star or role in a movie.

Everyone should wear dark sunglasses, at least at first - take a picture of everyone wearing their sunglasses.

Hire a photographer and have them walk around all night taking pictures, like papparazzi.

Award "Oscars" (find cute little statues or awards) for silly things that people have done or categories like in the MTV awards (cutest couple, best dresser, most likely to...)

Show movies or clips from movies along one wall area and have a contest where people say the lines from the movie - kind of like karaoke but with movies instead of music. Have prizes for best performance, funniest performance, etc...

If you can find key rings that have big "diamonds" on them, that would be a cute favor ... anything with "bling" ...  Movie posters hung on the walls, or on easels, would be good decorations ...  Since the carpet will be red, use alot of red satin ribbon, fabric with gold & rhinestone accents ...  Maybe fill large bowls with red & gold balls, scatter clear sparkly glitter around, and metallic stars confetti .....   In fact, when you send out the invitations, you can put some star confetti into each envelope!    If the ceilings aren't too high there,you could hang metallic stars from it.......Just think GLITZ and BLING, and OVER THE TOP......

make it like you are at the Oscars and when people come in hand them a survey with ?'s like who is the nicest person here, and who is the cutest couple here and then count the votes and hand out awards!
