Holmes defeats his brain sufferings by finishing the Phoenix Open successfully

J.B. Holmes successfully finished the Waste Management Phoenix without suffering from headaches or being dizzy.
Holmes, a 29-year-old American professional golf player, had gone through two brain surgeries in September and October 2011.
He was thinking that his career was over. His high morale and keen interest in golf brought him back on the course.
"I've been working pretty hard the last few weeks and I'm ready to see how it goes. It was a long process, but I guess compared to a lot of people I caught it fairly quick," Holmes said.
Similarly, before the start of the tournament, it was assumed that Holmes would not be staying on the course till the end of the fourth day.
However, he displayed an amazing piece of performance and strokes that astonished all his fellow players and spectators.
He started the tournament at par and was able to turn his two unimpressive bogeys into two impressive birdies.
In the second round he was 1-under par. Six birdies were again equalised by three bogey and a double-bogey on hole 9.
However, he improved his performance and the club moved the way he wanted it to.
He only made two bogeys in the final round and completed 71 par, the four-day tournament on -3. He tied for the 45th place by scoring 281 in total, earning $17,861.
"It feels like it's been forever, but I'm just happy to be back," Holmes said.
Holmes missed the cut in the previous season-opening tournament of the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.
He strengthened his commitment to the game and enjoyed the performance of the WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale.
Such an appealing finish after two brain surgeries helped him attain a high level of confidence and a good hope for the future.
He is recovering rapidly and now it is confirmed that both the surgeries were successful.
"When you go through a big surgery like that, and I never really thought I wasn't going to come back, but there is always a possibility that everything doesn't go right and I don't get back out here. So I'm just learning to appreciate the situation I'm in
a little bit more and just enjoy it," Holmes said.
There are many tournaments scheduled in 2012, where Holmes can play. He only needs to take good care of himself and proper medication. His appearance in the field is highly important for him and for his followers.
