"Our advantage now is that we are more flexible and less predictable, it is time for a derby victory," Holtby was quoted as saying in an interview.
The attacker’s club mate and fellow Germany youth international Draxler was also very positive ahead of the coming season. The 18-year-old believed that they have the means to win a championship and if they perform consistently,
it will bear fruition.
"We have enough quality, we must not to hide from the major players and teams and be smarter this season," Draxler finally concluded.
Schalke finished in third position last term and will be eyeing to improve their league standing. The Miners start their season with an away match against Hannover on August 26.
