The 21-year-old player is excited to play in the UEFA Champions League in the upcoming campaign, but has suggested that he is yet to decide on his future and might leave the Miners.

himself staying in the German side forever.
The former Borussia Monchengladbach trainee played 27 games for the Veltins Arena as they finished third in the German League in the previous season and qualified for Europe’s premier club competition. The young prodigy is ecstatic
to play in the prestigious tournament as he will make a debut next year.
The playmaker confirmed that he wants to play in an ambitious club which plays in Europe’s elite tournament every year.
"I want to play the new season at Champions League level," Holtby was quoted as saying in an interview.
The young prodigy stated that he feels on top of his game and is in good physical shape and full match fitness. The attacker further revealed that he has built a real interest in the sport. The star player is raring to go for next
season and has played down that he needs to take time off in order to rest.
"I'm healthy, I feel physically very well and I am developing real enthusiasm. I am a young player and I do not need four weeks of rest, as my head would go crazy," he mused.
Holtby is believed to be a huge fan of the English Premier League and has said that he will move there some time in his career. He told that currently he is having talks with the German side to thrash out a new deal to extend his
contract but insisted that he will not commit his future beyond the summer of 2014.
"Discussions are in progress, I cannot say more. I will stay at Schalke for at least another year," he finally concluded.
Holtby has scored six goals in his time at the Bundesliga club in 36 appearances.
