l thought it was great to see the demons send the dockers to h**l and burn ..lol..ashes to ashes dust to dust the dockers are that bad they are like a mighty peice of rust....rock on devil demons and ohhhh

Freo just lost steam in the second half and allowed Melbourne to steam roll them on the ground.

Good on Melbourne - it will probably be their only win, but at least it was a very memorable one!!!

Freo stopped playing good in the 2nd half coz the Dees were 50 points behind. then they stopped playing altogether in the last quarter coz the dees were 36 points behind. then the Dees saw the opportunity to get back within a couple points and ended up getting more goals then they bargained for. good on the Dees. they really deserved that win and i hope they win more this year.

freo have never played well against melbourne and it was the same today when they lost again. they played well at the start but then just lost it

Just finished on telly here in the east, delayed telecast, couldn't believe my eyes, like Richmond done to the hawks a few years back, same amount too, i think, 51 pts down, who would of thought, long ride home for the dockers.

i watched the first half and was liking what i saw (go taz!)

then i switched on the radio and heard that melbourne just kicked a goal to gain the lead and i almost fainted. i couldnt believe what i was hearing. i have no idea how freo lost the game from being 50 points up at half time

Freo thought they had it won at half time I think it was 77-27, I also assumed they would win as it  turned out. I am about to watch the replay on fox, I only hope there was a mountain of fans at the ground to watch this historic win cos they won't win another game this year - I can't believe they won this one.

Demons joined the game at half time and decided to play a kick a*se 2nd half with some fantastic goals!

Freo looked like they ran outta puff and stood there flabbergasted that their 51 point lead was getting munched away!

Im glad to say Melbourne won its first game and worked for it.. Freo didnt totally lay down they fought to stay afloat it just wasnt enough in the end!
