6-0!!!!!!!! SIX TO NOTHING! Can this day get any BETTER? I had a real sucky day yesterday.....my legs hurt so bad I couldn't walk and my dog died.....BUT TODAY! NO TODAY WAS ABSOLUTELY GRREEEAT! :)

Well, the WC Gold Medal game was awesome. What a rally by Russia, and you know Ilya Kovalchuk was the hero. By the way, maybe you should change your name to "Mrs. C...an't Commit To One Player." :P

As for the EC finals game---I'm still all jazzed up about it. Actually, it still hasn't sank in that the Pens are going to be in the SC finals for the first time since '92. What a feeling.

- The PP has been dangerous. (The Jaws music is back!)

- The PK has been better in the post-season than it was in the regular season.

- The D has been blocking shots and clearing the crease.

- The 4th line has been pitching in. Cycling, shooting pucks, you name it.

- Jordan Staal has been scoring.

- Jarkko Ruutu isn't taking hardly any penalties.

- Talbot, Kennedy and Dupuis play every shift with tons of energy and grit.

- Malkin & Sykora have taken a lot of punishment (and both have colds) but they've still managed to get on the scoreboard.

- Sid & Hossa are really clicking.

- MAFers is playing well and making key saves.

- Ryan Malone is playing the best hockey of his career. I hope the Pens can win the Cup for Malone more than anybody. Think about it: he'll be a free agent next season and he'll be worth a pretty penny. If we have to see Malone go next season, I'd feel a lot better if he could realize his childhood dream and win the Cup with his favorite team, the team his dad played for and won 2 Cups with as a scout.

i'm watching memorial cup game right now (awesome game. rangers lost to spokane. gah), and some basketball later on. it's holiday weekend and it's full of sports. nothing could be better...well if canada had won, but w/e. vancourver 2010. really todays been a great day for sports.
