Home Audio system?

Question

I want to get some kind of wireless home audio system for my room. I don't want anything on stands or anything too pricey. What would be good quality for not too much money?

If you just want two small speakers that don't need anything fancy, check out the Audio Research AW-871's.  They're on Amazon for just under $200.  Wireless speakers can be a bit of a challenge, though, especially in this RF saturated environment we live in.  Find out if the place you purchase your speakers from has a decent return policy.

There's really nothing better than average for wireless speakers so far.  I would recommend going down to your local Best Buy or CC and trying out a pair of wireless speakers and taking advantage of their 3-day money-back guarantees to get an idea as to what's out there right now.  You might find that wired speakers are the better value at the moment and perhaps for a while.
