Which would be more effective for defending your home.

A robot army equipped with lasers

or

A moat with a couple of moat monsters.

Also, which is more cost effective?

moat with moat monsters sounds more cost effective

assuming there are plenty of squirells and stray cats in youre neighborhood to feed the moat monsters

Sorry my friend. but you need both.  The moat with moat monsters will protect your home, and the robots with lasers will protect you from the moat monsters. I have both and the cost is high, but well worth it.

A moat will keep you lonely, a robot will keep you company. Not sure which will be more cost effective.
