Question:

Home Field Advantage?

Should the All-Star game mean home field advantage. I know that making it worth something makes the players play harder...but the All-Star game is about having fun like in 1993 game with Randy Johnson...John Kruk...and Larry Walker. Walker was thrown at by Johnson and he put his helmet on backwards and went over to the other side of the plate...just want your thoughts.

  1. I totally agree.  The all-star game is an exhibition and should be treated as such.  Selig made this awful rule to make up for his call on a tie game.  I think the players play hard no matter what.  The problem lies in the managing.  I'm not saying, it's easy to do.  What with all the players wanting to get some playing time and pitchers who shouldn't pitch because they just did.  It wouldn't bother me one bit if the game is called after the 12th inning as a tie.

  2. No the team with the better record should

  3. Yes, because like you said, the players try harder, and it becomes a game that actually means something.
