Home Parties...What is Your Opinion on them?

I am going to start a business doing Wild Tree Home Parties and Selling Wild Tree Products. They are a natural Herb, Spice and Mixes Company that have really great tasting, afforadable, healthy solutions that make your life easier. I know that there are tons of Home Party companies out there...I have been to Arbonne, Tupperware, Home & Garden, Partylite, Lia Sophia, Passion...etc. I hate going but usually when I get there I have fun. At Wild Tree Parties (called Tasting Parties) all that is done is tasting different products, no presentation, no games, nothing silly, just straighforward...So what is your take on this type of Home Party...would you love it or hate?

  1. When I was in my 20's I went to all of those parties:)   My daughters are in their 30's now (how did I get that old?), and one goes to Pampered Chef parties all the time, but isn't interested in anything else.  My other daughter is too busy socializing (or watching 3 toddlers) and isn't interested either:) ...But, good luck:)  .... Actually, your business seems like a perfect companion to Pampered Chefs.  Maybe you could do them together with someone (or sell both products yourself)

  2. I have never heard of Wild Tree.  However, I love attending Home Parties!!

I am a member of a Moms group.  We LIVE for convenience and home party companies offer us just that.

Your business (foods, spices...) are a great way for us to test the products before we buy.  So, I would definitely attend one.

You might also consider working with Apartments and Property Managers to DONATE your products for their clients to try.  You will be able to have your advertising displayed so that if they wanted to make a purchase they would call you.

Additionally, when you have parties, be sure to have something EXTRA fun which allows your guests to WIN prizes.  A Wild Tree Auction would be fun.

If you like, I'll be happy to explain how it is done!

There are so many ways to make money with your business!!!!

I do it with my Tupperware business and it makes the guests feel good AND helps me with my presentation!

Home Parties are a great way to make easy money as a consultant, earn FREE products as a host and buy awesome products at a discount.

  3. It all depends on how the party is arranged and how well organized it is.It is also important as to what kind of people you invite and how the products are presented / displayed. If cleanliness is well looked after and product information is honestly reflected / available.  In your case where tasting is involved, people will for sure love it IF cleanliness & hygiene is well cared for, including surrounding and presentation of display.

  4. I think I would like it.

It depends on the group of women you have.(young or old) Usually the young ones have fun! I like games at parties. It makes it more fun! I used to sell Princess House and my family was all Italian and most didn't speak English so it was hard to play games. I had to speak half English and then Italian. I played games with them and it got confusing. But when I did all American party, it was fun. I gave out prices. One game that I did at the end of the party  to get more bookings was get 10 little gift bags, in 3 of the gift bags put a gift and it the rest of the gift bags, I put a Piece of paper that said" YOU WON A PARTY! YOU HAVE TO BOOK A PARTY!" I tell them , It's a gamble, you might win a prize or book a party!.they don't know that only 3 bags have gifts. So the majority will get BOOK A PARTY! It's fun!

    GOOD LUCK and have fun!!!

  5. I like to have one like this :o)

  6. I hate getting those invites in the mail.  I cringe when I see another Tupperware, Home Interior, etc.  But, if food is involved, I don't usually mind them too much.  So, I guess I would go to ONE Wild Tree Party.
