I keep getting phone calls from people at Private name Private number and such... and is there a way i can block all numbers private from calling so they have to show their telephone #?

  1. try using *77...ACR which is anonymous call rejection....if they use *67 to call you then it will not get thru!!

    try and see if it works on your phone.......you know if you done it right.......when you hear 2 stutter-tones...

  3. *77 ACR and it is a FREE feature, it is included with ANY phone company as long as you have CID service...

  4. Yes...  but it depends on your phone provider (have no clue, where do you live:-)

    If you are for example in canada and have Telus as your provider, just call them and ask for that. I forgot the name of that feature, might be simple "call private" or something like that. It is PAID feature (which you can of course bundle with other features you already have). Then, if someone with undisclosed number calls, the computer voice is gonna prompt the person to either key in their phone number on touch tone phone (that BEFORE it rings at your side) or - if they do not want to do that - to leave a message on your voicemail should you have one (does not work with home answer machine of course). But in any case, it will never ring at your house with private/unknown number.
