  1. I used to get blackheads a lot. I use to use those biore patches and I had a lot come out of my pores. I think using the commercial face washes give you clogged pores. This might sound strange but I alternate using honey or yogurt to wash my face. My face feels clean afterwards and not dry. After awhile of doing this I used the biore patches again and nothing was in my pores. I don't have a problem with blackheads anymore.

  2. scratch em off with your fingernails ;)

  3. baking soda and water.  make a paste and massage into skin for 30 seconds.  Rinse and yay!!  no more blackheads!

  4. Use baking soda (not powder) as a facial scrub. Wet your face and dab wet fingers into the baking soda (maybe put some in a little bowl to make it easier). Rub the baking soda GENTLY into your skin adding more water if needed, and then rinse it all off. It's a great exfoliator and will help to absorb excess oil and clean out blackheads. I used to use this remedy alot when I was younger.

  17. Hi there! I'm a rep for Clinique, but I'm going to share a secret and CHEAP zit killer with you. It never fails that the day before a big event we'll get a big zit, right? Here's what you do. Purchase a bottle of uncoated, plain aspirin. That's right - aspirin. In the shower or over the sink, shake about 8 tablets into your hand and add warm water. The aspirin will dissolve pretty quickly. You can use this as a scrub, a mask, or even just to dab onto problem areas before bed. It's a miracle worker and here's why:

    1) Aspirin contains salicylic acid, the main ingredient in most acne products.

    2) Aspirin contains an anti-inflammatory which will take the redness and swelling out of a zit.

    3) The grainy texture of the scrub is a wonderful exfoliant and if you use it regularly it will get rid of clogged pores (which cause blackheads and zits) while the active ingredients do their work.

It's been a lifesaver for me!

    Good luck ~ : )

  18. soap,water and a good astringent

  19. Mix a tablespoon of oat bran with a little water to make a thick paste.

Smooth paste evenly over affected areas and any areas of skin which are especially oily.

Allow to dry thoroughly - until the paste is like a powder to touch (this could take up to one hour so lay down and take a rest).

Once dry, take a towel and soak in hot water.  Wring out the water but not too much (you want the towel to be piping hot and very wet but not dripping).

Apply the hot towel firmly to your face for 30 seconds and wipe.

Repeat until all oatbran is removed then splash your face with warm water for a final rinse.

To complete; take a fresh towel and soak in cold water (you could add some ice cubes to bring the temperature down).  Apply cold wet towel to your face for 30 seconds before drying.
