  1. Homeschooling is done at home, so there aren't any "homeschools" to enroll with.

There are some organizations that help homeschoolers, and some correspondence schools that some homeschoolers use.

Here are some correspondence or on-line schools.

  2. It depends on where you are.

Our public school system runs a program, and my daughter is in a homeschool program through a charter school, which is still free. There's even online homeschool. Where I am CAVA provides those services.

  3. What do you mean, "what are some out there"?

Try google.com to look up your own information.

  4. This question confuses me.  I have seen similar questions on Y!A.    Homeschool is where you learn at home.   Every home is a learning environment.  Homeschool is the term we give to education of children who are schooled at home.

Your home can be a homeschool.  You need to follow the rules for your state, follow your style of teaching and your child's style of learning.

I  hope I helped you understand the term.

    We are out here.

  5. Well there are complete programs that cost you a fee per semester, there are mix and match program offerings, on-line virtual school, unschooling options, brick store books from Barnes and Nobel or Borders books, thrift store books, library books.
