Home Theater Subwoofer Power up?

ok i have a home theater system and my friend has 15 rock fosgate subwoofer and its just sitting in the den and i was wondering if there is some way to hook it up to my home theater system and give it the power it needs since the home theater sub is 100 rms and the 15 is like 600 or 700 rms what do i need to up the power to be able to use this subwoofer

  1. Don't waste your time. Basically unless you have an enclosure for the same size woofer with a 4 ohm amp (assuming the sub is rated at 4 ohms) its cheaper to just buy a home theater subwoofer. If you really, really want to do it either because you have money to blow or just want to see it done,  you can get enclosures and HT amps from this website
