Home builders please help

is it hard to be a home builder and then selling your houses? i would like to get in this business. can u eran a lot of money doing this?

  1. If you are absolutely new at this, I recommend starting with remodeling work, where the scope of work, and the total duration of the job, is more easily predicted and controlled.  Kitchen and bathroom remodels are very popular, and you will make money doing it.  Once you are comfortable with that, work with larger projects while still working primarily on the items you are experienced with, and you will learn the other elements as you go.  

    Yes, currently the real estate market is down.  But it will come around sometime.


  2. My dad is a home builder. Since the economy and stuff is very low right now, I recommend not getting into the business at the moment. My dad used to earn so much money and was very busy, but now hasn't found work for over a year! Sorry, good luck. Try and build for the state that is what my dad is going to do.
