My key pieces of advice in picking your business:

1. Do what you know and love.

2. Follow your instincts.

3. Figure out how to provide value to your clients.

4. Talk to successful home business owners that you know and trust.

5. Whatever you do - try not to limit yourself to one income source - one of the best ways to grow your small business is to open yourself up to other income streams. If you start a catering business maybe you could also teach cooking classes in your house, or if you start house cleaning business then you could also stage houses for sale. This approach has been invaluable to me - allowing me to get through slowdowns in my "core" business.

6. Accept that "get rich quick" schemes only work for 1 in every million people and generally require illegal activity - instead try to build a lasting business that will continually pay you a reasonable amount.

for earning quick cash, there is no quick way, you have to make at least great effort to earn, if you have your own capital then by investing you can start earning but it also depends on your effort and your knowledge...... anyway, on internet also can be earned but there is a lot of froud, first of all you have to recognise the company who are making froud and earning ,,,,, its also true that there is some companies which are earning good money you can say million of dollars but they have invested their time, knowldge, capital,,,,,, anyway i was also lookking quick way for earning but after waisting my 2 years time i got what the internet job........ i am sure that first of all you have to waste lots of your time then you can earn on internet and its also true that once money start coming then if you event want to stop it u cant stop...... because that time the truffic of your site would be widden and u cant stop it until mak any change in your site............. you have to think upon all thos matter just i tried to make you know......... well see you........ good luck........... you can try this site as well.........http://www.wwwzyyx.blogspot.com/

Hi, I would recommend  operating a mailing list brokerage. It is quick and easy to start up and it costs almost nothing. It also takes little of your time and is suited to stay at home moms. See the site below in the resource box on how to start this up.

How old are your children?  I have three boys all two years apart.  I have my own home based business, my husband and I together.  I also know quite a few people who have their own home based businesses and do just as well as we do in ours.  So there are a lot of legitament home based businesses out there.  They do not cost a whole lot to start either.  You know, most home based businesses only cost under $500.  Some do cost more, but it depends on which company you are collaborating with.  Some even cost under $100 to start.  But you will have products to purchase, which brings your start up cost to about $500.  So you should look into a variety of different things.  Plan on no matter what the start up cost if it's $10 (you will end up spending more for products that you will distribute, or in the $100's or a few hundreds.  Any home based business plan on it being at least $500.  Some businesses add up everything it would cost to get going, other's just tell you how much it is to collaborate with them.  Ask these types of questions to whom your talking to on what they do.

All legit home based businesses would be legit if the product is real.  If they're registered with the bbb, (all members of the bbb are legitament.  You can't be a member unless your a legitament business.  The bbb does all this investigations before accepting a business owner to become a member)  Just a little tip there.

Here's a blog that has over half a dozen different industries that are legitament home based businesses.  All registered with the bbb and all have incredible income opportunities.  It also has a lot of really good information on home based businesses and how to have a successful one.

From personal experiences and knowing a lot of people that have home based businesses, I think the one that is the best is in the telecommunications industry.  Most people involved have an easier time to build this type of business because it's in high demand, and the way the business works through collaborations with other companies, really gives you a very high income opportunity.  You can read more about it on this blog and it can explain it better then me.

I have been a stay at home dad and entrepreneur for 5 years. I know that you may be overwhelmed with the choices you have out there. My suggestion is to start with something small. Make some money and roll it over to something bigger. Then make some more and roll it  to something even bigger.

And all you require is some time and little action. A good start would be to join a get paid to fill out survey network like the one below. Go make a couple of hundred dollars and then use that as startup capital for a home business. And so on

This is how I started. Yeah, to most it seem like a waste of time to start this way, but what you will learn is priceless and making a couple of hundred bucks for doing something so simple is great.
