Home buying in nj?

Seriously everybody.how would i buy a home in central jersey w/bad credit? is this possible.........single mom and i try so hard just so my kids can have a place they call home and a yard to play in and they can have a dog.Thanks ALL.Much advice needed

  1. You need a decent credit score, of AT LEAST 580, if you have this score, see your local Wells Fargo.  There are programs for "low-income" buyers (less than $50,000 three person household).  

    The program is called CHAMP, and you can find local community programs which could provide a "2nd" loan with no interest up to $10,000 towards your down.  

    What you really should do, is find a realtor which works with a lot of "low-income" buyers, or first time buyers.  

    If your score is very low, then you need a cosigner.
